Sean Maden is a bioinformatics researcher with expertise in transcriptomics, epigenomics, and informatics analysis. He earned his Ph.D. in Computational Biology from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Oregon Health & Science University.

Sean is interested in open-access research projects for data science. He develops R/Bioconductor software packages (e.g. recountmethylation and lute), analysis workflows (e.g. recountmethylation_instance and r-nf_deconvolution), and other resources (e.g.  geoarraydigest, methyPre, cgageR, and cgmappeR) for research.
